Fine letter from Oswestry to 'Joseph Jones Esq, Solr, W Pool' dated 3rd August 1840 with fine to very fine 1d black pl.4 (SG2) lettered RF with fine four margins and tied light strike red Maltese cross of Oswestry. On reverse 'OSWESTRY' date stamp AU 3 1840. Filing folds well clear of stamp. (Ref 132953).
