PL.28 (SG8)(JL) ON COVER MOATE (WESTMEATH) TO DUBLIN. Letter Moate to Dublin dated 25th Sep 1840 with fine 1d pl.28 (SG8) lettered JL with four close to large margins, tied fine strike Moate Maltese Cross in black. On reverse MOATE date stamp SE 27 1843 and Dublin receiver SE 28 43. (Ref 120089).
