Letter Dublin to Mountmellick dated 11 Jan 43 with fine 1d pl.28 (SG8) lettered DB with four close to large margins, tied very fine large part strike of the DISTINCTIVE MALTESE CROSS OF DUBLIN in black (spec B1tf). On reverse Dublin date stamp JA 11 43 and MOUNTMELLICK date stamp in blue JA 12 1843. Filing fold clear of stamp and cancellation. (Ref 120031).
