1763 MAIL ALNWICK TO LONDON WITH 'ALNE/WICK' TWO LINE HANDSTAMP IN BLACK NR8). Wrapper, some faults dated 23 April 1763 to 'Mr. Jonathan Wharton, Boswell Court, near Lincoln's Inn, London' charged '2/8' with manuscript '2oz' and on reverse light strike on the very rare 'ALNE/WICK' two line handstamp in black (NR8). This handstamp only recorded 1763. (Ref 140262).
