1837 DORSET/'SHAFTESBURY PENNY POST' (DT458). Mourning wrapper, slight creasing, Iwerne to 'Mr Wills Attorney Shaftesbury' dated Jany 1837 and charged '1'. On front fair strike boxed 'Shaftesbury/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (DT458) and good to fine strike unframed 'No.3' receiver's house hand stamp of Iwerne Courtney in black. (Ref 119589).
