1838 DORSET/'SHAFTESBURY PENNY POST' (DT461). Fine mourning wrapper to 'Burridge Esq Shaston' (Shaftesbury), dated Feb 9 1838, charged '1', on front fine strike unframed 'No.3' receiver's hand stamp of Iwerne and fair strike boxed 'Shaftesbury/Py P.' hand stamp in black (DT461). (Ref 119586).
