1796 'BLOOMS BY 3' RECEIVING HOUSE HAND STAMP LONDON PENNY POST (L420). Wrapper used locally in London addressed to 'Chalmer Esq. Brick Court Temple', postage unpaid with manuscript 'Not paid' and charged '1'. Small fault upper right but very fine strike of the rare large type 'BLOOMS/BY 3' receiving house hand stamp in black (L420). On reverse fine strike '4 o'Clock/24.FE/96 EVEN' London date stamp in red. (Ref 123328).
