Letter Thornbury (Glos) to Alveston Bristol dated 19th Dec 1840 with a fine 1d black pl.3 (SG2) lettered QC, surface fault but fine four margins cancelled indistinct red-brown M.C. which although not tied appears to be genuine. On front good strike THORNBURY udc in black (GL842). (Ref 88061).
