1841 'ENGLISH AND SCOTTISH LAW FIRE AND LIFE ASSURANCE' MULREADY ADVERT FROM CROSS, SOMERSET TO BRISTOL. A used 1d Mulready wrapper, Stereo A240, some faults and soiling, from Cross in Somerset to 'Mrs Armstrong, 11 Clifton Vale, Bristol' with fine strike black Maltese cross, on reverse 'CROSS' date stamp JU 20 1841 and 'BRISTOL' date stamp JU 21 1841. Within 'English and Scottish Law Fire and Life Assurance' Mulready advert in blue MA123, a very scarce advert with only eight examples so far recorded. (Ref 132993).
