Unaddressed envelope from the 1890 Penny Postage Jubilee South Kensington exhibition with 6d dull green (SG194) lettered BN, some colour loss but with superb strike 'PENNY POSTAGE JUBILEE/V CROWN R/1840 1890/2.JY.90/SOUTH KENSINGTON' exhibition hand stamp in purple. A rare usage and the first example of this stamp used at these celebrations we have seen. (Ref 137794).
