1890 NEWSPAPER WRAPPER LONDON TO GEORGE PICKERING, LEWISHAM. Newspaper wrapper, 170 x 72, used in London to 'Mr George Pickering, 13 George Lane, Lewisham S.E.' with fine ½d slate blue (SG187) tied fine strike 'V K/2 ? 90/S-W' newspaper cancellation. Wrapper some faults to front. George Pickering worked at the Chamberlain's Office in the Guildhall and is well known due to the quantity of mail he sent to himself during the 1890 exhibitions.
