Fine envelope London to Stonehouse, Gloucestershire with fine to very fine die 2 1d pl.49 in a nice pale rose shade on transitional paper (Spec C9(4) lettered RK tied fine strike London '22' Inland Office numeral. On reverse fine strike 'Bayswater' London straight line receivers hand stamp in black and London date stamp JU 30 1857 in blue. Fine and scarce usage. Mike Williams certificate 2020/210 'Both stamp and cover have no faults'. (Ref 126751).
