1840 1D BLACK PLATE TEN (SG2) FINE USED HORIZONTAL PAIR FK FL WITH RED MALTESE CROSSES (SPEC AS66h). Fine used horizontal pair 1840 1d black plate ten (SG2) lettered FK FL with four close to fine margins and cancelled several strikes red Maltese cross (Spec AS66h). Stamp 'FL' shows small printing flaw opposite Queen's eye due to foreign matter on plate during printing but which has fallen away before cancellation. Red Maltese cross on plate ten very scarce. BPA cert 35451 signed by Robson Lowe. (Ref 140162).
