1858 MOURNING ENVELOPE LICHFIELD TO GAINSBOROUGH, DIE 2 1D PL.46 (SG36) 'Missent to/Derby' HAND STAMP (DY165). Mourning envelope from Lichfield, Staffs to 'Mrs Willan, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire' with die 2 1d pl.46 with the scarcer perforation 16 (SG36) lettered BB, indistinct cancellation. Stamp affected sulphurisation. Evidently missorted with light strike 'Missent to/Derby' on front (DY165), on reverse 'GAINSBOROUGH' date stamp FE 11 1858. (Ref 139908).
