    1841 MAIL DRUMLEGARE, ABERDEEN TO KILLBEGGIE, RE-DIRECTED TO EDINBURGH WITH 1D BLACK PL.6 (SG2). Letter from Drumlegare dated Jan 21st 1841 to 'Revd. Mr Henry, Preacher of the Gospel, care of Mr Stein of Killbeggie' with postage paid in cash and light strike boxed 'PAID AT/ABERDEEN'. Letter re-directed to 'Parks's Lodgings, 17 Dundas Street, Edinb' with 1d black pl.6 (SG2) lettered TC affixed at upper right. Stamp just touched at lower right and corner crease, tied red-brown Maltese cross. On reverse 'KINCARDINE' date stamp JAN 24 1841. Unusual usage showing pre-payment in cash and also a postage stamp.
