    1828 'Money Letter' FROM COUNTY KERRY, IRELAND TO EDINBURGH WITH 'SUNDAY' HAND STAMP. Fine letter from County Kerry to Edinburgh sent as a 'Money Letter', post paid '3/2' and on front very fine strike of the square chamferred 'SUNDAY' Dublin date stamp in red 28 SE 1828. At lower left manuscript 'Money Letter', the money letter system was the forerunner of the registered mail system. Very scarce usage. (Ref 139305).
