1846 1D PL.72 WITH PLATE WEAR (SG9) GOOD TO FINE MINT BLOCK OF NINE. A good to fine unused block of nine 1846 1d pl.72 showing early plate wear (SG9) lettered KB KC KD LB LC LD MB MC MD with good to very fine margins all round but KD and LD very small scissor cut into and several stamps with horizontal bend. Despite these imperfections a most attractive multiple with very fine colour and very fine original gum. KD and MD show 'double bottom'. (Ref 137555).
