1842 MOURNING ENVELOPE BRISTOL TO CREWKERNE WITH 1D PL.21 (SG8). Mourning envelope, slight soiling, from Bristol to 'Mrs Maynard, Seaborough House, Crewkerne, Somerset' with 1d pl.21 (SG8) lettered SA in state one of the plate, just touched upper left otherwise good margins and tied very fine strike Bristol Maltese cross. On front 'CREWKERNE' date stamp in red AP 18 1842. (Ref 137084).
