1844 WRAPPER ST ALBANS TO HERTFORD WITH 1D (SG8) AND ON REVERSE 'HERTFORD' SKELETON HAND STAMP (HE219). Wrapper from St Albans to 'Messrs Longmore and Sworder, Solicitors, Hertford' with 1d (SG8) lettered QF, just touched at lower right otherwise fine margins and tied fine strike '675' numeral of St Albans. On reverse 'ST.ALBANS' date stamp NO 11 1844 and fine strike of the rare 'HERTFORD' skeleton date stamp (HE219) dated '12/1844' with month omitted.
