Mourning envelope from Stobo to 'William Blackwood Esq, Writer, Peebles' with die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered KH, filing fold affects, cancelled Scottish numeral. On reverse good strike scarce 'STOBO' type C1 Scots local back stamp in black and 'PEEBLES' date stamp DE 14 1859. (Ref 136697).
