Envelope from Kirkcolm to 'Mr Beattie, Inspector of Poor, Barony Parish, Glasgow' with die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40), oxidised, lettered KI, indistinct Scottish cancellation. On reverse good strike 'KIRCOLM' type C1 Scots local back stamp in black and 'STRANRAER' date stamp MY 5 1858. (Ref 136683).
