Good to fine 1890 Penny Postage Jubilee 1d blue envelope, small tear at upper right, cancelled superb strike 'PENNY POSTAGE JUBILEE/V CROWN R/2.JY.90/SOUTH KENSINGTON' exhibition hand stamp on the first day, re-used in 1892 from Stratton on the Fosse, Somerset to Bruges in Belgium. Latter posting unpaid with 'STRATTON ON THE FOSSE' date stamp JY 20 92 and '1d' blue imprint at upper right remains uncancelled. Unusual. (Ref 134416).
