    1841 LETTER ONLY FROM 'JAMES MCADAM, SON OF 'TARMAC MCADAM'. Fine letter, some folding of course from enclosure in envelope, from 'Road Office, No.40, Charing Cross' dated 20th Feb 1841 and signed 'James McAdam' who was the son of 'Tarmac McAdam', the son being a well known road engineer in his own right, letter references the 'Much Wenlock to Church Stretton Turnpike Trust'. (Ref 132929).
