1857 MATCHED PAIR DIE 2 1D PL.43 LETTERED PD ON CREAM TINTED TO WHITE PAPER (SPEC C9(3) AND WHITE PAPER (SG40). Small piece with fine used die 2 1d pl.43 pale red on cream tinted to white paper (Spec C9(3) lettered PD tied fine strike '528' numeral of Mildenhall in Suffolk (Parmenter rarity 'H') and alongside 'MILDENHALL' date stamp in green JU 19 1857. Matched with fine used deep rose-red on white paper printing (SG41) with London '19' Inland Office numeral, several shorter perforations at left. Fine matched pair clearly showing these two different printings. (Ref 132828).
