COLLECTION OF ENVELOPES/CANCELLATIONS FROM THE VILLAGE OF CLEOBURY MORTIMER, SHROPSHIRE. Good lot comprising ten covers 1849-1864 with cancellations from the village of Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire, comprising 1849 and 1850 letters sent pre-paid with fair strikes 'Cleobury/Penny Post' hand stamps in black (SH114), 1851 wrapper with light strike similar hand stamp from Cleobury to Bewdley with 1d (SG8), creased but tied very fine strike '68' numeral of Bewdley in blue (Spec B1xb) and group of 7 envelopes with various penny reds 1853-1862 all ex Cleobury Mortimer with village hand stamps and cancelled with the '68' numeral of Bewdley.
