1841 MAIL LANGFORD, SOMS TO WELLS WITH 'NO.26' RECEIVER'S HAND STAMP OF LANGFORD (BRISTOL PENNY POST). Wrapper from Langford in Somerset to 'Mefsrs Davies and Foster, Solrs. Wells' with 1d (SG8) lettered HB, just touched at lower left otherwise fine margins and tied fine strike Bristol Maltese Cross. On front good strike unframed 'No.26' receiver's hand stamp of Langford in black which fell under the Bristol Penny Post. On reverse BRISTOL date stamp JU 18 1841. (Ref 128547).
