Wrapper from Bradford (Yorks) to 'Louis Alexander Esqr., Solicitor, Halifax' with 1d (SG8) lettered BJ, touched at top otherwise good margins and tied fine strike black Maltese cross of Bradford. On front fine to very fine strike 'Bradford Yorks/Penny Post' hand stamp in red (YK506). On reverse BRADFORD-YORKS date stamp JA 21 1842. (Ref 125826).
