Fine entire from Corpus Christi College Oxford to 'Mr Ellis, Mr Cleveland's Apothecary, No. 2 Dowgate hill London' dated 27th October 1786, on reverse slight trace London Dockwra hand stamp and fine strike time hand stamp (L368) office 'G' and 12 O'CLOCK. Also on reverse, struck over flap, fine strike 'R. MASON' straight line London Penny Post receiver's hand stamp in black, this receiver's hand stamp only recorded in use 1786. (Ref 123390).
