1784 ENTIRE FARNHAM (SURREY) TO DEPTFORD WITH TEMPLE DOCKWRA (L357b) AND 'HAILSTONE' LONDON RECEIVER'S HAND STAMP. Fine lengthy entire from Farnham (Surrey) to 'Mr Chas Eve, No. 17 Union St, Deptford Kent' dated 10th January 1784, on reverse light strikes Temple Dockwra (L357b) 'T/MO' and 9 o'CLOCK time hand stamp (L366). Also on reverse fine strike framed 'HAILSTONE' straight line London receiver's hand stamp in black. This receiver's hand stamp only recorded in use 1783 to 1784. Fine usage. (Ref 123389).
