Fine letter from "British Linen Company Bank" Dumfries 13 Oct 1841 to Edinburgh with pair 1d red pl.XI (SG7) lettered QD QE, with pre-separation scissor cut in between which affects QD, cancelled heavier strikes black M.C.s. On front fine strike of the boxed "MISSENT/TO/GLASGOW" hand stamp in black. Stamps clearly show 7 o'clock ray flaw NE square. (Ref 111765).
