BLUE MALTESE CROSS OF PRESTON ON COVER (SPEC B1sc)/PL.20 (GB)(SG8). Wrapper (slightly soiling) Preston to Bermondsey, London with a four margined 1d pl.20 (SG8) lettered GB, tied good strike of the Preston Maltese Cross in BLUE. Stamp light bend at top but a good example of this colour cross and back stamped PRESTON JU 20 1842. (Ref 106094).
