1843 MAIL SELBY, NORTH YORKS TO SNAITH WITH 2D BLUE PL.2 (SG5)(BJ). Fine letter from Selby dated 17th April 1843 to 'William Shearburn Esqre, Snaith' with good used 1840 2d blue pl.2 (SG5) lettered BJ, touched at left but otherwise fine margins and of attractive appearance, tied good strike black Maltese cross of Selby. On front 'SELBY' date stamp AP 17 1843. (Ref 139326).
