1720 MAIL BEDALE, NORTH YORKS TO LONDON WITH 'BEDALL' STRAIGHT LINE HAND STAMP (YK215). Fine letter from Bedale dated June 13th 1720 'To Mr William Staunton at his Seat in the Six Clerks Office, London', charged '4', on reverse very fine strike 'BEDALL' straight line hand stamp in black (YK215), the first Bedale hand stamp and recorded in use 1720-1722, also on reverse fine Bishop mark 'JU/17'.
