Entire letter from Bewdley dated Aug 17 1840 to 'Henry Gingell Esqre, Solrs, Henbury, Bristol' with good to fine used 1d black pl.6 (SG2) lettered NL with four fine margins, tied indistinct strike red Maltese cross, light wrinkle affects. On reverse 'BEWDLEY' date stamp AU 18 1840 and 'BRISTOL' date stamp AU 19 1840. (Ref 135770).
