Mourning envelope, minor soiling Lancaster to 'Mr R E Yates, 5 Coleman Street, London EC' with die 2 1d rose-red on white paper from plate 62 lettered RC ERROR IMPERFORATE (SG40a), tied fine strike 'LANCASTER/436' duplex AU 13 62. Also a second mourning envelope, same correspondence, also with die 2 1d plate 62  ERROR IMPERFORATE lettered RA (SG40a), tied fine strike 'LANCASTER/436' duplex AU 21 62. Both stamps with some damage where torn from sheet but A REMARKABLE PAIR OF 'ERRORS IMPERFORATE' from same sheet, same correspondence. (2 items). (Ref 136063).
