Wrapper from Milnthorpe to 'Mefsrs The Bank of Westmorland, Kendal' with good used 1d red pl.8 (SG7) lettered LK, very close but clear at lower right otherwise fine margins and tied very fine strike Milnthorpe Maltese cross in black. Stamp shows fine 'O' flaw. On reverse good strike 'BACKBARROW' udc in black (LA20) and 'MILNTHORPE' date stamp NO 15 1841. (Ref 138073).
