1820-1822 THREE LETTERS WITH VERY FINE STRIKES 'KENDAL/Penny Post' HAND STAMPS IN RED (WE206). 1821 letter Ambleside dated 3rd Sep to Gatehouse, Scotland charged '1' Penny Post, '11' General Post, also boxed '½' Scottish wheel tax charge. On reverse very fine strike 'KENDAL/Penny Post' hand stamp in red (WE206) and boxed 'No.2' receivers hand stamp in black. Second letter same correspondence with identical hand stamps, dated 4th May 1820 and third letter, again same correspondence, same hand stamps dated 21st June 1822. Very fine lot. (3 items).
