Envelope Halifax to 'Thomas Pease, South Parade, Leeds' with 1d (SG8) lettered NB, cut into and tied indistinct strike Halifax Maltese cross in black. Also on front fine strike 'Brighouse/Penny Post' hand stamp in blue (YK585) and 'LEEDS' date stamp AP 1 1842. On reverse 'HALIFAX' date stamp MR 31 1842 and fine wafer seal in brown with italic style 'F' within. (Ref 133325).
