1842 WAFER SEAL 'P' ON ENVELOPE LONDON TO LUDLOW. Fine envelope London to Ludlow with postage prepaid, on front 'Knightsbridge/1D PAID' hand stamp in black overstruck 'PAID' date stamp 29 OC 1842. On reverse very fine circular wafer seal in orange with capital 'P' in Gothic style, also LUDLOW date stamp OC 30 1842. (Ref 116854).
