1840 1D MULREADY WRAPPER IPSWICH TO EYE. Used 1d Mulready wrapper, stereo A2, from Ipswich to 'East of England Bank, Eye', faults/some damage on reverse but cancelled very fine strike red Maltese cross of Ipswich. On reverse 'IPSWICH' date stamp NO 21 1840. Within advert 'Please to Pay Barnett Hoares and Co./on account of Ipswich Bank.' (Spec MA301b). (Ref 139438).
