Fine printed wrapper from the National Bank of Scotland Leith to "National Bank of Scotland Dingwall" with a very fine die 2 1d pl.37 lettered MH in a very attractive PALE ROSE SHADE ON TRANSITIONAL PAPER (spec C9(4), tied good strike "DUKE ST. LEITH" type VII Scots Local (Edinburgh). On reverse EDINBURGH date stamp OC 14 1857. (Ref 114265).
