1868 MAIL BANBURY, OXON TO SINGAPORE WITH 1S GREEN PL.4 (SG117) WITH MARGINAL INSCRIPTION. Fine envelope from Banbury 'Via Southampton' to 'Col. Curtis, Singapore' with fine 1s green pl.4 (SG117) lettered KD, centred to right but with large part top margin showing marginal inscription 'LLING'. Stamp tied fine strike 'BANBURY/46' duplex NO 13 68 and on reverse 'SINGAPORE' date stamp DE 24 68. Very fine usage. (Ref 132468).
