    1831 MAIL USED IN BRISTOL WITH 'BRISTOL/6 AP 1831/PY POST' FRAMED HAND STAMP (BS148). Fine letter from Northstoke, Somerset to 'Mifs Hayes, 14 Richmond Terrace, Clifton' posted unpaid and charged '2', on front fair strike boxed 'No.2' receiving house hand stamp of Clifton in black. On reverse good to fine strike of the very scarce framed 'BRISTOL/6 AP 1831/PY POST' hand stamp in black (BS148) this hand stamp only recorded 1830-32. (Ref 132235).
