1843 MAIL WENLOCK, SHROPS TO IRONBRIDGE WITH 'WENLOCK' UDC (SH330). Fine letter from Wenlock to 'George Potts Esquire, Iron bridg, near Wenlock, Shropshire' with 1d pl.32 (SG8) lettered SG with four very close but clear to good margins and cancelled black Maltese cross. On front fine strike 'WENLOCK' udc in black (SH330) and light strike 'IRONBRIDGE' date stamp JY 14 1843. (Ref 132894).
