1829 MAIL SHIFNAL TO SHREWSBURY WITH 'SHIFFNAL/Py Post' HAND STAMP (SH552). Wrapper from Shifnal to 'J.W. Watson Esq. Solr., Shrewsbury' charged '6', 1d Penny Post and 5d General Post. On front good strike Shiffnal/Py Post hand stamp in blue (SH552) and good strike boxed 'No.3' receiving house hand stamp of Much Wenlock in black. Wrapper dated June 29 1829, filing folds affect hand stamps. (Ref 125857).
