Fine printed letter from the Bank of Scotland, Lauder to the Bank of Scotland, Dunse with fine 1d pl.17 (SG8) lettered BB in STATE TWO (Spec BS6h), four close but clear to fine margins and tied very fine strike Lauder Maltese cross in black. On reverse 'LAUDER' date stamp AU 22 1842. Stamp shows TOP AND RIGHT SIDE RESTORED. (Ref 133644).
