Envelope, minor soiling, from Glendaruel to 'Mr Macleod, Inspr of Poor, Dunoon' with die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered AE, corner added but tied fine to very fine strike 'GLENDARUEL' Scots local cancellation type III in blue (Parent Post Office Cairndow). On reverse 'CAIRNDOW' date stamp NO 24 1858 and 'GREENOCK' and 'DUNOON' date stamps NO 25 1858. Stamp with fault otherwise fine usage. (Ref 136608).
