1855 FINE PRINTED DOCUMENT FORBES, ABERDEENSHIRE TO ABERDEEN WITH 'FORBES' HAND STAMP. Good printed document, 223 x 103, from Forbes to 'Nathl. Farquhar Esq, Sheriff Clerk of Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen' with fine die 1 (SG17) lettered OI tied fine strike '9' Scots numeral, although possibility stamp does not belong. On reverse fine strike 'FORBES' boxed Scots local hand stamp type D7 in black and 'ABERDEEN' date stamp JY 22 1855 in green. Contents, some staining with fine printed detail 'COUNTY OF ABERDEEN/LIST of NAMES and DWELLING-HOUSES, and USUAL PLACES OF BUSINESS of every REGISTRAR and ASSISTANT-REGISTRAR, in the COUNTY of ABERDEEN...'.
