1882 COMPLETE PARCEL TAG SHEFFIELD TO LECHLADE, GLOS WITH 2D PALE ROSE (SG168). A fine and complete linen parcel tag, 113 x 48mm, small soil at top, from Sheffield to 'Mr Mitchell, Lechlade, Glos' with fine 2d pale rose (SG168) cancelled fine strike 'SHEFFIELD' cds DE 16 82. At top of label fine imprint 'Edwards and Co, Ironmongers, Bar Iron, Oil, Glass and Color Merchants, Castle Works, Swindon'. On reverse very fine strike 'SWINDON.STATION' cds DE 18 82. A most unusual and very scarce usage. (Ref 140009).
