A good wrapper from Liverpool to Manchester, part of addressee crossed through but with fine 1d black pl.2 (SG2) lettered JJ, without ray flaws NW square, good four margins and tied fine strike red-brown Maltese cross. On reverse 'LIVERPOOL' date stamp OC 27 1840 and in same red ink fine strike hand stamp '6' as found on Liverpool to Manchester railway mail. RPS cert 193973. (Ref 139165).
